In-N-Out Burger (LA) – That’s One Delicious Burger
After having tasted it for myself, I totally see why… You really can’t explain it, it’s just good! (But I’ll try for the blog’s sake :P)
We were driving from Beverly Hills to Santa Monica Beach so we passed by this location on Washington Blvd. The drive thru was hella long so we went in and sat down instead.
Their menu is super simple and extremely affordable. Where in Vancouver can you get a Cheeseburger for $2.35?! Except for the “$2.85 Hamburger” food cart in downtown. 😛
Do note: they have TONS of secret menu items like: Animal Style Fries (fries topped with cheese sauce, grilled onions, and thousand island dressing), Bunless (no buns here, your burger is wrapped in lettuce), Grilled Cheese (just bun and cheese), Flying Dutchman (pure protein here, melted cheese slapped in between two meat patties). There’s many more so you can click here if interested.
Love the open kitchen idea which shows great visibility on their cleanliness and burger making procedures.
Meta Knight and I both opted for the Cheeseburger ($2.35) which comes with simple grilled onions, burger patty, lettuce, tomato, cheese, all sandwiched between a perfectly oiled plump bun.
I must say… this burger was indeed simple, yet somehow PERFECT. The bun was so fluffy-im-gonna-die! The meat was also extremely tender and not like those dry flat patties you see from McDonalds. I inhaled this baby because it was so darn good.
I’m sorry but In-N-Out lives up to the hype. So if you haven’t tried it yet, you better make it a point to visit one before you leave the US! Next time I’m getting my fries animal styled!
