It is here that the best smartphones, smartwatches and tablets of the year are presented, and industry giants share current trends in the mobile world. The exhibition is also a forum for mobile operators, device manufacturers and technology suppliers, where they can discuss issues such as 5G, mobile equipment, virtual reality and other related technologies. The fact that an exhibition of this scale and level attracts thousands of visitors annually is evidence of the obvious place that mobile technology now occupies in our lives.

We love our AirPods, which is why this tech gadget has taken the bronze spot on our list. For those who aren’t familiar with the concept, AirPods aren’t just regular headphones, they’re wireless earbuds that you take out of the charging case that comes with your purchase. When you open the case, they activate and connect to your smartphone, tablet, laptop, or similar device. These headphones are perfect for those who are tired of wires getting tangled in their bags and who like to have their hands free to do other things, whether it’s listening to podcasts, talking on the phone, or recording voicemails.

This tech gadget is almost too obvious and mundane to be on our list, but we still think it deserves an honorable fourth place. We may take it for granted, but the fact is that we wouldn’t be able to do many things if we didn’t have a laptop to help us. The fact that we can travel the world and take our work with us, watch movies on trains, planes, and in the car, and plan our personal finances using various Excel spreadsheets without being confined to our homes is incredible in terms of freedom and flexibility.
