Steveston Pizza Co. – Eat Like Royalty
After sifting through my album of food photos, I realized I never wrote a post on Steveston Pizza Co. and the ridiculously amazingness that is the “Princess Pizza”.
Steveston Pizza Co. is located in the heart of Steveston Village (Richmond) and is a little Italian mom and pop pizza shop that does primarily take out. All the locals love this joint, claiming it to be one of the best pizza places in Vancouver. I never felt the motivation to try it till last year but when I did, I instantly fell in love.
The Princess Pizza ($30 CAD) is not your typical Pizza Hut or Dominoes pizza. It comes LOADED with fresh shrimp, 6-7 large prawns, ample amounts of cheese, and smoked salmon. The pizza is hand tossed so its thin and will require two hands to keep your slice leveled.
I’m sure by now you have already begun to drool on your keyboard so there is no need to go on about how delicious this pizza was. If you do plan to go, call ahead because it will take roughly 30-45 mins to get your pizza from the time you order. It comes as a classic 12 inch (no choice on the size) and can feed anywhere from 2-4 people. If you’re hungry and gluttonous like Queen B and I, you can probably beast through this. However don’t get ashamed when tables next to you are sharing it between 5 people. #truestory #noshame
