Justin Bieber’s Timbiebs Launches in US and Canada! Worth the Hype?
Justin Bieber’s Timbiebs have officially launched in Canada and the US and everyone is going cuckoo over it! Keep scrolling to get my thoughts on whether they’re worth the hype.
Justin has been a life-long Tim Hortons superfan and for this collaboration, he worked with Chef Tallis Voakes, Tims Director of Culinary Innovation, to create the three new Timbit flavours: Chocolate White Fudge, Sour Cream Chocolate Chip, and Birthday Cake Waffle!
The limited edition timbits are available at Tim Hortons restaurants across Canada and in the US.
Also, for all you Beliebers out there, you’ll be happy to know that there is also a co-branded merch lineup that was developed by Justin: a cozy beanie, a fanny pack, and a tote bag. I got the fanny pack as part of my media package and I gotta say, I really like it. It feels pretty sturdy, durable, and made of good quality materials which is great.
So… are they worth the hype? And how do these Timbiebs taste?
1. Sour Cream Chocolate Chip Timbit
Verdict: I actually really enjoyed these! They have tons of crunchy cookie-like pieces on the outside along with an abundance of chocolate chips, so every bite was heavily textured, and of course, sweet.
2. Chocolate White Fudge
Verdict: Less crunchy than the Sour Cream Chocolate Chip, this one is softer, chocolati-er, and very delicious. This will satisfy any chocolate lover. The white fudge adds a little bit of contrast and sweetness to to otherwise plain chocolate timbit.
3. Birthday Cake Waffle
Verdict: Surprisingly this was also very tasty! It tastes just like ‘birthday cake’ and I like that every timbit has a lot of colourful sprinkles. This timbit was probably the sweetest out of the bunch.
Overall, was it worth the hype?
Yes. I’m not a HUGE Justin Bieber fan but these three new timbit flavours are very delicious and I love that each timbit has a lot of texture on the outside. It’s just enough of a difference from the other timbits to be creative and different, while overall still staying true to the well known Timbit flavour combinations and taste.
Let me know what you think of these Timbiebs! Did you like them?
